On the Farm

I have made some changes to the farmhouse. I'm preserving the relative country feel of the old original house but adding a few touches of modern construction to build my dream home. The contractor and I have considered accessibility, style, convenience and cost in the design. The addition to the house uses ICF walls (Insulated Concrete Forms) to offer great strength, R-value and longevity. Construction began in September 2002. Anticipated completion of the project is early March 2003, April, hopefully May. Okay. Maybe June. Definitely July. Well... someday... Phase 1 was completed mid-2003. There are still a few rooms in the old section of the farmhouse that I plan to renovate. In time....
